Information You Submit
A name, phone number or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Jurupa Valley Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of that message and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting providers may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages and timestamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate for site health and broad readership patterns. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools where they are enabled.
How Information Is Used
Technical information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic counts and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and the reference does not intentionally build individual profiles from ordinary use.
External Destinations
Pages link to county and state portals, libraries, archives and sponsored search providers. Information submitted on those destinations is governed by their own privacy statements and terms, especially when a third party processes a search.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and support vendors may handle ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the technical data described above. Disclosure outside those functions occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational purposes that require them. Because there are no visitor accounts, this service does not create a password or user profile that could be exposed here.
Children and Minors
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from someone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be located and deleted when possible.
Your California Privacy Choices
California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act rights appear principally in Civil Code ยงยง1798.100 et seq. Covered businesses may provide access, correction, deletion and opt-out rights, subject to exceptions. Because this reference keeps little visitor information, a request normally means checking the contact mailbox and applicable technical logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
The California Public Records Act does not give this reference power to erase a lawful deed, court file or government roll. Requests concerning records held by California, Riverside County or Jurupa Valley offices must go to the custodian that maintains them.
Policy Changes
When this policy changes, the revised text will appear here. Continued use after publication indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
